I was setting up a perimeter alarm and the motion sensors were stuck in shipping. The client didn't rush me and even offered coffee during follow-up visits. How do you deal with inventory delays without losing customer trust?

Being open about delays can turn a frustrating wait into a chance to show your honesty. If you explain the situation clearly and check in often, clients often respect you more for it. So @ross.thomas, while waiting weeks isn't great, how you manage the delay can make it feel fair to the customer.
