Tell me about it. Found a tiny crack in a fuel line connector last month that grounded a plane for two days. The part itself was fine, just some old sealant that had turned to dust. Makes you wonder how many delays are just ancient, dried-up rubber hiding in plain sight.

That "ancient, dried-up rubber" thing makes me worry about all the parts we can't even see.
