Pulled 3 planes off the line in one shift at DFW and it felt like cheating
Had a Tuesday night where everything just clicked, two AOGs and a flap rig job finished early with zero rework. I think what made it work was preloading all my tools on a cart before the shift instead of walking back and forth 20 times. Does anyone else prep a cart the night before or am I just getting old and lazy?
Read somewhere that the pit crews in NASCAR do the same thing, lay everything out in order before the race so nobody has to think during it. Sounds like the same idea, just with more torque wrenches and less left turns. Prepping the cart the night before isn't lazy, it's just cutting out the dumb parts of the job.
