My air fryer basket finally gave out last night
Been using the same one since 2019 and the nonstick coating started peeling off in flakes... had to toss a batch of chicken wings because I found little black bits in them. Anyone else had the coating fail on them after a few years?

Read somewhere that PTFE coatings like that only last about 2-3 years before degrading...

Honestly, those little black flakes aren't just ruined chicken wings, they're you eating tiny bits of plastic and carcinogens. I'd toss the whole air fryer not just the basket.
