Showerthought from my Marrakech tour: No price lists at any stall

I had to guess how much everything cost, which was kinda stressful. How do you deal with that on street food tours?

Honestly, does it feel like more places are hiding prices these days? Tbh, I see this all the time with food trucks or flea markets where you have to ask. It turns buying stuff into a weird game of guesswork. Ngl, that constant haggling and uncertainty just wears me out after a while. Makes me miss when things were just labeled clearly.

Totally get what you mean. Honestly, it feels like every market stall turns into a game show where the price is right, but you're always wrong. You ask how much for some dates and brace for that awkward pause before they name a number, just like camerong61 said. Ngl, my strategy is to just point and mumble, already accepting I'm probably paying too much. Sometimes I miss the simple life of a price tag.
