I finally gave up on travel blogging after seeing how packed it is in Bali

Lots of people push travel blogging as a perfect side hustle, but I think it's overrated. During my time in Bali, I met dozens of other bloggers all fighting for the same spots. They were spending hours editing for very little money back. The ads don't pay much unless you have a huge following. It feels like a full-time job with no guarantee of success. I believe local tour guiding or teaching English online is a smarter move. My experience showed me that passion doesn't always pay the bills.
