I still can't explain how my pen ended up in the fridge

I was sure I left my pen on the counter after writing a note. When I went back to get it, the pen was nowhere in sight. After searching the whole room, I opened the fridge for a snack and saw it sitting by the butter. I know I did not put it there because I was not even near the kitchen earlier. This kind of thing makes me wonder if small glitches are real. Have you ever had an object move on its own like that?

Seriously? I've had stuff like that happen but it's always just me being distracted. You probably picked it up without thinking when you grabbed something else from the counter and then set it down in the fridge absently. Our brains are on autopilot way more than we realize. I wouldn't jump to glitches, just normal forgetfulness.
