Update: My latest bowl project has a weird cloudy spot
I finished a clear glass bowl yesterday, but now there's a hazy patch right in the center. Has anyone else dealt with this after the kiln cycle?

Yeah, is this about cast iron by any chance? I was reading this old forum thread where people said a cloudy white residue can sometimes appear on seasoned pans after they cool and dry, something about mineral deposits from hard water.
