I put mustard in my morning oatmeal on a dare and liked it
My coworkers dared me to try this odd mix, and I actually enjoyed the tangy twist. It made my plain oats way more interesting for breakfast. Why do sweet toppings get all the attention when savory ones can work too?

Is it really worth ruining a perfectly good bowl of oatmeal? Some classic breakfast foods are meant to be sweet and comforting, not a place for your condiment experiments. That tangy twist you liked sounds like a good way to put me off my morning meal. Let's not pretend every food needs a savory makeover just for the sake of being different.
