Finally switched from regular floral foam to the new biodegradable kind for a wedding arch

Used the new stuff for a big outdoor wedding in Charleston last weekend and the difference in how long the hydrangeas stayed fresh was huge. The old foam would have dried out by the ceremony, but these were still going strong for photos 6 hours later. Anyone else made the switch and noticed a change with specific flowers?

Feeling that pain. I bought these gorgeous peonies last week that looked amazing for maybe 36 hours before they completely gave up. It's so frustrating when you're trying to make a nice arrangement. My kitchen table just looked sad and droopy by day three.

Ugh, right? I had tulips do the same thing last month, looked dead before I even finished paying for them lol.
