Shoutout to the guy at the hardware store who saved me from a plumbing disaster

I spent 4 hours trying to figure out why my new kitchen faucet wouldn't stop leaking after install. Turns out I needed a specific washer size that wasn't in the box, and the old one was shot. Anyone else have a tiny missing part cause a huge delay?

Ugh, that's the worst! It's always something you'd never think to check. I lost a whole afternoon once because a new shower head was missing one of those little plastic washers. Looked everywhere, finally found a random one in my junk drawer that fit. Such a relief when you find the fix.
