Hot take: My spam folder hack for password resets

I kept missing password reset emails because they never showed up in my inbox. After waiting way too long, I finally checked the spam folder on a hunch. Sure enough, every single one was sitting there marked as junk. Now I skip the inbox panic and go straight to spam to find them. It saves me a few minutes of frustration each time. Honestly, it feels like a minor victory over a dumb system.

Seriously, the spam folder is like the Bermuda Triangle for important emails. I mean, I've lost count of how many times I've had to dig through junk just to reset a password. It's like the filters are on a mission to hide anything useful. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like the system is actively working against us. I've started checking spam first too, and it's both sad and funny how reliable that is. We shouldn't have to play hide and seek with our own emails, you know?

My spam folder is actually pretty empty these days. I had to really train it by marking things as "not spam" over and over. Maybe @lauradavis is right about the training part, but it can get better. The filters just need clear examples of what you actually want to see.

Guess we're all training our spam folders to be our new inbox now. It's the only folder that actually gets the important stuff.
