Duct tape on my vacuum hose fixed a clog issue in 2 minutes flat
Last week my vacuum lost all suction and I was ready to take it apart. I felt the hose and found a tiny crack where air was leaking out. Wrapped a strip of duct tape tight around it and bam, suction came right back. No new hose needed, no trip to the store. Anybody else got a quick tape fix that saved you money?

Oh man, duct tape is basically the unofficial repair kit of my whole life at this point. I've got a bad habit of using it on stuff I probably shouldn't, like my glasses once when the arm broke off and I looked like a total nerd for a week. But hey, if it works it works, right? That vacuum fix is genius though, I would have probably just bought a whole new hose and then felt dumb when I realized tape would've done the job.

Hold up, duct tape on glasses? That's not a genius hack, that's just being too lazy to hit up the drugstore for a proper repair kit. And buying a new hose is usually the smarter move long term since that tape's gonna peel off in a month and leave you with the same problem.
