Just realized my hydrafacial machine needed a filter change way earlier than the manual said

Spent 4 months wondering why my clients weren't getting that glow, turned out the filter was clogged since week 3. How often do you guys actually swap yours out compared to what the book says?

Same thing happened to me with my old machine... started checking the filter every 2 weeks and swapping it out when it looked dirty instead of waiting on the manual. Made a huge difference in how the results looked.

and honestly i bet half the problem is that these manuals are written by people whove never actually ran a machine in a real salon setting. like they assume youre working in a perfect temp controlled lab where the water is pristine and theres zero dust. ive had clients who bring in heavy makeup or serums that just gunk things up way faster. i ended up just checking mine every two weeks now and swapping when it starts looking a little off white instead of waiting for a schedule. saved me a bunch of headaches and product waste.
