Stuck a butter knife in a sticky relay and it somehow fixed a floor-leveling issue
Last month I had an Otis that wouldn't level to the third floor, kept stopping six inches low. After two hours of checking sensors and drives I was so fed up I tapped the main relay contact with a butter knife from my lunch box and it started working perfect. Anyone else ever fix a dumb call with something completely random from their pocket?

Tapped it. Stuck it right in there and wiggled it a bit. @owens.willow, sometimes you just gotta try whatever's in reach. Fixed a jammed door lock with a paperclip once. Desperate times.

@patking I did the same thing with a car key on a governor switch once and it was the wildest fix ever.
