Paid $80 for a 'pro' microsoldering course, learned more from YouTube
Last month I dropped $80 on an online class promising to fix damaged phone pads. The instructor spent 30 minutes on cleaning flux, and the actual technique was worse than what I already knew from free videos. Am I the only one who thinks these paid courses are just gatekeeping basics, or did someone actually get real value from one?

Right? I burned $60 on a "masterclass" and dude literally just repeated what a 15 minute YouTube video taught me. Felt like I paid for a PDF of screenshots.
