Am I the only one who gets into a zen state while soldering?
I was fixing a broken amplifier last night. Focusing on the tiny solder joints just tuned out all the noise and stress. What's your go-to method for staying calm during intricate repairs?

Honestly, my zen state usually involves not setting things on fire by accident. Tbh, focusing that hard just makes me remember I'm one shaky hand away from wrecking a whole circuit board. Ngl, my go-to method for staying calm is loudly complaining about the stupid tiny parts. It's only peaceful until you inhale that flux smoke and question all your life choices.

Look, I get the focus part, but zen? Half the time I'm sweating over a joint, praying I don't bridge two pins and fry the board. That flux smell gives me a headache, not peace. It feels more like controlled panic than some deep calm. Honestly, my heart rate goes up just thinking about it. Maybe for some people, but for me, it's just stressful work.
