Rant: my swing cycles jumped from 38 to 61 an hour after I matched my pump RPM to the spoil bank, and I'm never going back

My buddy ran into the same thing last season on his old 3406. He had the pump dialed in at some weird number his operator swore by, and his cycles stayed stuck in the low 40s all summer. Swapped the RPM to line up with the bank, and by the next shift he was hitting 58, 60, sometimes 63. He said the fella who trained him never mentioned it once, which still gets him going.
