Hit 40,000 cubic yards on my cutterhead last Tuesday in Toledo, never expected that number so early in the season

Been running the same old Ellicott B590 for 6 years and my logbook said 39,400 before Tuesday. We are only in late April and my helper pointed out the total after we shut down for a fuel top-up. That number felt unreal because my dad always said 30k was a solid full year back when he ran a clamshell on the Maumee. I guess the new discharge line and the wider cutter teeth made the difference. Is 40k common for guys on the bigger cutterheads, or am I just lucky with the clay this spring?

Did your logbook start counting before you learned how to read it right?
