I finally started checking my scale against a known 12 inch line before every set, after a mess on a Cherry Hill job
I was laying out wall lines on a Thursday in Cherry Hill and something felt off, so I taped a 12 inch line on the sheet and my plotter was printing about 3/16 long. I reset the calibration in the plotter menu, reprinted the sheet, and the whole floor lined up fine after that. Now I keep a little printed 1:1 ruler taped inside my tube and check it when a set arrives. Anyone else get burned by a plotter drifting, and do you check it on every set or just when a job looks weird?
