Found a cheap trick to keep my scale drawings from smudging
I kept ruining my vellum prints with graphite smears, especially on bigger jobs. Tried hairspray and it worked okay but smelled awful. Then a guy at a print shop near Portland told me to use a soft brush and a little bit of cornstarch on my hands before touching the paper. Took me about 3 tries to get the amount right, but now I keep a small jar on my desk and my sheets stay clean. Has anyone else got a weird DIY fix for drafting supplies that actually stuck with them?
