Am I the only one who peeled 40 oranges before realizing the trick?
Last month I was making marmalade and spent a whole afternoon peeling oranges by hand, then my cousin walks in and says, 'you know you can just boil them whole, right?' I felt SO dumb, it took me 15 years of making jam to figure that out. Has anyone else had a kitchen shortcut that everyone else knew but you?

Gotta admit, I felt the same way about making pie crusts for years. I was always cutting butter into flour by hand until my grandma showed me you can just freeze the butter and grate it in. Total game changer, felt like an idiot for sure.
