Wife wanted an accent wall in the nursery, and I was dead wrong about peel and stick panels
I told her the cheap peel and stick wood panels from the big box store in Springfield were a waste of $180 and would start peeling within a month. I finally caved on a Saturday and we put them up in about 4 hours on a wall that had old cracked plaster. That was 11 months ago, and they still look glued flat, even with the humidity swings from the nursery humidifier running all winter. I've done real shiplap with a nail gun and paint and honestly this was less headache for a room the kid will outgrow in 5 years. Has anyone had these things fail, or did I just get lucky with the brand?
