Caulk guns, why did nobody warn me about the drip problem
I spent last weekend redoing the bathroom baseboards in my 1960s bungalow and realized I've been using caulk guns wrong this whole time. The tube kept leaking out the back seam no matter how I squeezed, made a mess of my gloves and the floor. Turns out you have to cut the spout at an angle and puncture the inner seal completely, plus release the rod pressure between pushes. Has anyone else fought this battle or found a gun that actually stops the dripping?
