Talked to a plumber at Home Depot who said most people don't insulate their garage walls when they should

He pointed out my garage was just drywall over studs and said I'm losing half my indoor heat through that one wall. Has anyone else sealed up their garage and noticed a big difference in their heating bill?

Honestly, that plumber might have a point even if he was just trying to upsell you. My buddy sealed his up and his garage actually stays above freezing half the winter now, which is wild for a room with no heat in it.

Sealing it up might keep the cold air out, but then you're stuck with whatever moisture builds up in there from the car or anything else you store. @lane.angela, how do you deal with condensation when you trap all that humidity inside? Seems like you'd just trade one problem for another without proper ventilation.
