Finally caved and tried a coworking space after 2 years of cafes and libraries... actually liked it
I was so against it. Thought it was just paying for a fancy desk and pretending to be important. But last month in Chiang Mai I hit a wall with my local cafe - too loud, unreliable wifi, and I spent like $8 a day just on iced lattes I didn't even want. Tried Punspace for a week on the day pass. First day felt weird but by day 3 I was getting more done than I had in weeks. The quiet zones with actual power strips changed everything. Plus met a guy there doing similar remote work who gave me a tip on a client project. Anyone else hold out on coworking spaces for too long?

...and that's exactly what I told my buddy Mike when he was complaining about working from his kitchen table. @jones.angela you get it, it's like having a real office without the lease or the weird guy who microwaves fish every day. My local spot has this old leather couch that smells like 1997 but I swear I do my best work there. Good coffee too, which is half the battle.
