Heard a guy in Austin say he stopped paying his agency $3k a month and just posts Reels himself now, and I keep going back and forth on whether he's right
He was talking to a friend at a coffee shop on South Congress, said the agency sent him the same monthly report for 6 months with nothing but reach numbers on it. He said nobody ever told him which posts actually brought in jobs. So he dropped them in January and now spends the money on boosted posts. Part of me thinks he just had a bad agency. The other part thinks maybe we all lean on those reports way too much. If you run an agency, how do you show clients real results without drowning them in charts?
