Uploaded my 200th piece to my portfolio in Grand Rapids and the view count never moved
I posted number 200 to my online gallery on a Tuesday night in Grand Rapids and woke up to the same 14 views I always get, which made me wonder if anyone actually scrolls past the first row. Does your stuff get buried too, or is there some trick to the order you upload in?
Two hundred pieces and you are worried about view counts? Maybe the gallery just isn't the place people go to scroll. Think about how you look at art online, you see a link, you click, you look at one or two things, then you close the tab. Most folks are not sitting there browsing 200 deep. The number you upload probably does not matter at all, the first row is just whatever is newest or whatever the site decides to show. Idk, feels like you are chasing a metric that was never going to move much anyway.
