Spent $220 on a monitor calibrator and now I hate every screen I look at
Picked up an X-Rite i1Display Pro about 5 weeks ago because a client in Portland kept saying my colors looked off in their print proofs. Calibrated my main IPS panel and it turns out two of my three monitors were way too blue this whole time, which explains about a year of weird client feedback. Problem is now I can't unsee it, every laptop and phone screen I pass looks wrong and I keep wanting to fix them. Anyone else go down this hole and did you just accept that other people's screens will never match?
