Dropped $800 on a color-calibrated monitor and it's the best art choice I've made

I kept having clients say my work looked different on their screens, which was a huge problem. After three rounds of edits on a piece last month, I bit the bullet and got a proper monitor. The colors are so much more accurate now, and my prints match the screen perfectly. It cost about $800, but it saved me hours of back-and-forth corrections. I should have done it way sooner. Has anyone else found a specific tool that fixed a big workflow headache for them?

Honestly, that's a solid move for any artist dealing with clients. I'd say a good tablet matters too, like Olivia_Hernandez mentioned, but getting the colors right first is key. Saves everyone a ton of trouble down the line.

Same, getting a proper drawing tablet with tilt sensitivity finally made my lines feel natural.
