I finally stopped using a 1/2 inch impact on lug nuts after 9 years

Was doing a brake job on a customer's F-350 in my Bayview shop last month and snapped a stud clean off. My old mentor Dale swung by, looked at my gun, and said "you been stretching every stud on every truck you touch." Bought a torque wrench that same day and started hand-torquing to spec. Any of you still running the impact on everything or did you switch over at some point?
