Stuck on whether to tell my neighbor about his sprinkler hitting my car
So my neighbor's sprinkler head is aimed wrong and it's been hitting the side of my car every morning for like a week. It's just water, but it leaves spots and I just washed it. I was stuck on whether to say something or just let it go to avoid being 'that guy'. I decided to knock on his door yesterday and just be super chill about it. I said, 'Hey man, not a big deal, but your sprinkler is giving my car a free wash every morning, lol.' He had no idea and felt bad, and he fixed it in like 5 minutes. It went way better than I thought. Has anyone else had to decide if a small annoyance was worth bringing up to a neighbor?

My old neighbor's sprinkler used to water my trash cans every Tuesday. I finally mentioned it and he said he thought I was just really into clean garbage.

Glad you spoke up, I’ve found most neighbors are cool if you just ask nicely.
