I was all set to toss my 4 year old Craftsman mower after it died mid yard on Saturday
Then my neighbor Dave walked over, pulled the spark plug, cleaned it with a wire brush for 2 minutes, and it fired right back up, so now I'm wondering what else I've been replacing that just needed 2 minutes of work?
Dave saved you a whole new mower with a wire brush. That's the move. Same thing happened to my dryer last month, thing wouldn't heat, I'm pricing new ones online, turns out the vent hose was packed with lint and it was a safety shutoff. Twenty minutes with a vacuum and it runs like new. My fridge was making noise too, just needed the coils cleaned. We toss stuff way too fast man.
