Picked the $5 padlock with a key over the $25 one with an app, and now I'm wondering if I messed up
When I set up my home wifi router two weeks ago I stood in the aisle at a hardware store in Boise for like 20 minutes staring at a $25 smart lock with an app versus a plain $5 keyed padlock for my network cabinet, and I went with the dumb one because I figured less software means less ways in, but now I keep seeing stories about cheap locks getting bumped open in seconds so I want to know if anyone else here has made that same call and regretted it.
