Just realized my prompts were all doing the same thing and a notebook from 3 years ago tipped me off
I was cleaning out my desk in Tucson and found a notebook of story prompts I wrote back in 2022, and every single one started with a character waking up or staring out a window. Guess I have one move and I've been calling it variety. What's the tell you look for when your own prompts start feeling samey?
