Clearing out my attic gave me the creepiest story idea ever
I was sorting through decades of junk in the attic last weekend. Under a pile of dusty boxes, I found a child's drawing of a door that wasn't there. People say home projects are boring, but they're WRONG for sparking ideas. Now I use stuff from my own house as prompts for my writing group. It's made our sessions SO much more personal and scary.

That's how it goes with most boring chores. The really good stuff always hides behind the jobs nobody wants to do.
