Watched a rigger in Tacoma pick a load with no tag line and my stomach dropped
He was flying a 40 foot pipe section with just two chokers and no tag line, and it started spinning at about 15 feet up. I always run a tag line on anything over 20 feet now, even when the ground guy says it's not needed. Anyone else had a close call that changed how you rig?
