Saw a stat the other day that got me thinking...

I was reading some old trade magazine from 1985 and it said the average crane operator back then had 18 years of experience before running a big rig... now it's down to like 6 or 7. Anyone else notice the new guys coming up seem way greener than when we started?

My cousin spent 5 years learning on an old Link-Belt before they let him run solo.
