Overheard a foreman say he never uses swing brakes on crawler cranes
He claimed it wears out the clutches faster, but after watching him nearly swing a load into a concrete wall on a site in Houston last Tuesday, I think saving parts isnt worth risking the job site safety, any of you guys run without swing brakes regularly?
