Had the worst stretch of days at a job site in Allentown last month
We were setting HVAC units on a big warehouse roof and the wind kicked up to about 25 mph around noon. I had to shut down three times because the load started swinging bad (which I hate). Then on the second day, my crane's swing brake started acting up and we lost a full afternoon waiting for a rental replacement to come from Scranton. Has anyone else dealt with sudden wind issues that just wreck a whole schedule?

25mph? That's a t-shirt weather breeze here in Chicago. We call that a "light jog" for the crane.

25mph isn't that bad until you're in an open field or near the lake. People exaggerate wind speed all the time, especially on here. Bet half the folks claiming 50mph gusts haven't even looked at a weather app.
