DAE remember when the guy on the 200 ton told me to quit watching the load
Two months back I was running a Grove 80 ton at a job site off Highway 41 outside Evansville, and I kept staring up at the load every time I swung. The operator on the 200 ton next to me came over on break and said, "You're chasing the headache ball, watch the boom tip and trust your rigger." I tried it his way for a week and my swings got way smoother because I wasn't whipping the load around trying to correct every little bit. Funny how the fix was to look at less of the machine, not more. Any of you run into that same habit when you were coming up?
