That one client complaint about my balayage made me redo my whole technique
I had a client last month who came back angry because her roots blended too fast and looked muddy by week three. She said my color melted too high up and I was booking too aggressively. At first I was pissed, but then I looked at my before and after photos from the past year and she was right. I switched to smaller foils and painted lower, closer to the midshaft, and now I'm getting compliments on grow out. Has anyone else adjusted their placement after a specific complaint, or was I just being stubborn?
