The $9 bag of spicy pickle chips that wrecked my whole afternoon

Picked up a bag of those spicy dill pickle chips from the gas station on Route 9 near Albany last Tuesday. They looked harmless but within 20 minutes my stomach was doing backflips and I couldn't leave the couch. I like heat but this was like eating a jalapeno wrapped in vinegar and salt. Has anyone else gotten burned by a snack that seemed mild at first glance, or is it just me and my weak gut?

Same bag wrecked my buddy twice. Gas stations there sell cursed snacks.
