Update: I was fact-checking a moon landing video from 2013 and realized I was only looking at debunkers.

I finally checked the official NASA transcripts from the Apollo 11 mission and the context changed everything. Has anyone else found a primary source that completely flipped a theory for them?

Find it happening with recipes online too. You read the angry comments saying it failed, but they all changed a key step. Makes you wonder how much online drama just comes from people not checking the original info first.

Exactly, you have to check the source. It's like people want a shortcut for everything, even understanding. They skim a headline, swap out ingredients, and then blow up the comments when their cake is raw. The real problem is nobody wants to do the basic work of reading anymore. So much arguing online is just a bunch of people yelling based on their own lazy mistakes.
