My uncle in Reno swore the moon landing was faked on a soundstage, then he bet me $50 and lost
Back in March my uncle Dale, who lives in Reno, sat me down and walked me through his whole thing about shadows and the flag. He was so sure that he put $50 on it. I spent a weekend digging through the actual Apollo 11 transcripts and photo logs, and by Sunday I had six clips that blew holes in every point he made. He paid up but still says the footage is 'too clean' for 1969, so what source actually settles this for you guys?
That "too clean" thing is the one argument that never dies, no matter how many clips you bring. The actual source that ends it for me is the 842 pounds of moon rocks they brought back, because those have been studied by labs all over the world for over 50 years and nobody has ever shown they came from Earth. Plus the Soviet Union tracked the whole thing the entire time, and they would have loved nothing more than to catch us faking it. Your uncle's real problem is that no amount of proof can beat a feeling, so honestly take the 50 bucks and let him keep his moon.
