Tried a Kirby Morgan vs an OTS Guardian for a week straight. One of them gave me a killer headache every dive.

Swapped out my KM 37 for a loaner Guardian on a pipeline job off Port Fourchon last month. Thought I'd save some weight. Four days in my temples were pounding. Switched back to the KM and headache was gone in 2 hours. Something about the exhaust valve placement maybe. Anyone else get headaches from certain helmets?

Wait, you actually got a headache that went away in just two hours after switching back? That's wild. I would have thought it was something else in the water or maybe a sinus issue, not the helmet itself. @gavin_knight39 you ever heard of a helmet causing that kind of reaction? I've tried a few different models over the years but never had a problem like that from just swapping gear. The exhaust valve theory makes some sense, maybe the back pressure is different. Still, a full week of pounding temples sounds rough, glad you figured it out before it got worse.
