Saw a dive crew in Galveston last week using a bent wrench as a cheater bar and it scared me
I was down at the Galveston pier last Tuesday grabbing lunch and watched a 3 man crew prepping for a harbor inspection job. One guy was using a bent spud wrench as a cheater pipe on a stubborn bolt, and it slipped and smacked him right above the eye. He was fine, but that's a $2k ER trip waiting to happen over a $40 breaker bar. We get lazy on the small stuff and that's how guys get hurt. How do you all handle the pressure to just get it done when the right tool isn't on the truck?
