My umbilical got a pinhole leak at 40 feet and I felt it in my fingertips
Last Tuesday on a pier inspection job in Charleston, my gas line started acting weird about twenty minutes into the dive. Turns out a pinhole had rubbed through where it crosses the harness, and I could feel the flow change on my fingertips before anything looked wrong on the gauge. I surfaced, swapped to the spare hose on deck, and finished the session at 20 feet instead of pushing the deeper section. Now I'm curious how often you all pull and inspect your hose at the harness wear points, because I used to just check it at the ends.
