The inspector in Fort Worth taught me more in 20 minutes than a whole class did
I was walking a tenant buildout on 7th Street when the city inspector pointed at my fire-blocking at the top plate and asked me to show him the detail on my drawings. He did not scold me, he just pulled out his phone, showed me the photo he keeps for exactly this mistake, and asked how I planned to fix it before the rough-in. Anyone else have an inspector who actually teaches instead of just red-tagging?
