Just hit a milestone on a job in Phoenix - no rework needed on any of my MEP rough-ins

I've been watching guys on site keep mixing up their plumbing vent clearances with code requirements for fire blocking, and after 6 months of double checking everything on my own work, I finally got a perfect inspection pass. Anyone else notice superintendents glossing over the IRC section on fire stopping in commercial?

Ain't that the truth, man. Nothing worse than figuring out you and the super were reading different rulebooks, @ben486.

Nice work man. Must feel good to have the inspectors actually reading the same book you are. I once spent a whole morning chasing a fire caulk spec that turned out to be wrong because the super was going off a different edition of the code than what the city was using.
